What do you have in common with Cindy Crawford the super model?
1st February 2012 20:39:51
My kids crashed early tonight, must have been the cold weather this week and long days at school. The Husband is out of the country for work and therefore, food remains stuck on the floor from cheeky toddlers, the sink loaded up with pots and pans and the dishwasher remains open just cleaned staring at me screaming ‘put me away.’
But instead I order a Pad Thai take away from JustEat.co.uk. A very cleaver way of ordering take- out. You go straight to the website and pick your poison. Food is delivered to you in no time at all. It is the latest thing!
But what goes hand in hand with a Thai take away and perhaps a Cobra beer? Social Networking Surfing.
As I devilishly stalk super models on Twitter I notice that us ‘regular’ moms actually have a lot in common with these leggy, instantly toned super mommies.
They too have a lot of stuff going on. Cindy Crawford’s handle is ‘mother, businesswoman and model (the order depends on the day) and Kathy Ireland well- she’s trying to come up with ideas to help mom’s find an easier way of doing things.
Seems like they too go through the same things us ‘regular’ moms go through. Of course their bank account had money in it; however, they are juggling many things as well.
I bet they too go through relationship strains and pressure from work and wishful moments of Zen whilst their children are screaming ‘I want this NOW, mommy!’
Sure, I can generalize and say that they may have a nanny. But, nothing can take away the natural reaction of a mother’s child screaming her favourite soprano.
So take this thought away with you if you are reading this right now. Somewhere, out there is another mom doing the same thing you are right now. It may be a better situation; it may be a worse situation. It may be a happier situation; it may be a sadder situation.
Either way no matter big or small mommies have a lot to manage. So, this is my advice to you… learn to take thing with a grain of salt. Try to ensure that you are strong both in mind and in body. Because if you are strong then you can withstand anything.
