Swinging Indian night raises Help for Heroes cash in Ware
By Clare Bourke on November 30th 2010
A Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble tribute act helped Le Spice Merchant in Ware raise money for the Help for Heroes charity. The Indian restaurant hosted a special dinner event on November 30 to raise money for the charity which is close to the heart for the owners who have had five generations of family in military service. Guest of honour at the event was Vice Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Richard Beazley who joined guests for the five-course meal and champagne reception. As part of the event a cheque for £1,000, from customers and money raised at auction, was donated to the Help for Heroes charity.
