Concert for Watford New Hope Trust

By Clare Bourke on January 16th 2012

A concert of classical music takes place in Watford next month in aid of local homelessness charity, Watford New Hope Trust.

The programme features Ravel’s impressionistic piano trio and Schubert’s Viennese masterpiece “The Trout”. Watford resident, Wing Yun Wu, who has appeared as a soloist with several internationally-renowned orchestras, will be joined by members of the BBC Concert Orchestra, which has recently returned to take up residence at the newly-refurbished Watford Coliseum.

The concert, which is supported by the University of Bedfordshire, takes place at St Luke’s Church on Langley Way on 11 February and starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions) including refreshments and programme, and can be reserved by calling 01582 882159.
